Facts of Douglas Ogbankwa Being a Lawyer Called to Practice in Nigeria

(His Class Mate in Class in UNIBEN and His Call Mate at the Nigerian Law School).
1.This whole thing is all about politics , Supreme Court never said Douglas is not a Lawyer , he is said the name is not on the roll (Aguguom his former name is on the roll, Ogbankwa his current name on the NBA Records,(Including NBA Stamp and Seal issued with the Name: Douglas Ogbankwa, with the same call number :055406 that is on the roll of the Supreme Court with his former name :Douglas Ogbankwa.
That does not mean he is not a Lawyer, called to the Nigerian that is why the Letter said he is at liberty to come with his call to Bar Certificate and other documents, to put the new name under the space of the old name(as is the tradition), if he was not a Lawyer , the Letter would have said He is not called to the Nigerian Bar, but is never said . Kindly read the letter careful.
He changed his name from "AGUGUOM", to "Ogbankwa , so recourse must be made to his change of name and the newspaper Publication. Which is in the public space .
2.Razak Isenalumhe who wrote the Letter , asking for the clarification has himself appointed Douglas Ogbankwa into countless Committees of the NBA Benin Branch and he was even the one that asked others to step down for Douglas Ogbankwa that made him to run unopposed.
3.Rasaq Isenalumhe former NBA Chairman coordinated the movements of some young Lawyers to Uyo in 2014, when Austin Alegeh SAN, FCIArb UK, was NBA President and Douglas Ogbankwa was the Only Young Lawyer that spoke at SLP Conference in the Ibom Le Meredian in Uyo , Presided over by the Charismatic former President of the NBA -Chief OCJ Okocha .
4.The Call Number of Douglas Ogbankwa 055406 is bore only by Douglas Ogbankwa in Stamp and Seal delivered by the NBA and that Stamp and Seal has been used to Practice Law Widely all across Nigeria.The Call number is the same call number that is the roll.Douglas & Onyebuchi , both names of the subject are on the Roll of Lawyers called to Practice Law in Nigeria.
5.Douglas Ogbankwa Esq., was appointed by the Edo State Government to serve in the Committee appointed to review the Edo State Criminal Code , Headed by My Lord , the Hon Justice Efe Ikpomwoba of Criminal Court 1,Benin City , when he served with distinction with the current HOS of Edo State -Mr. Anthony Okugbowa and Mr. Razaq Isenalumhe the Author of the Letter .Also in the Committee were Professor Badaki SAN, Professor Inegbedion SAN, Dr Akel Bello , Orobosa Okunbor, the OC Legal State CID, Ogwunba , Mellisa Omene of the British Council , etc Douglas Ogbankwa was flown to Lagos by the British Council ,with his then chairman and friend -Pius Oiwoh for a Conference on Professional Ethics .He was the only Lawyer Flown to Abuja by the British Council to Abuja for a joint Session of Private Practising Lawyers and National Prosecutors from the Police , EFCC, ICPC, CCB, NAFDAC, NAPTIP, etc, coordinated by Bayo Akinlade and the Federal Justice Sector Reform Committee, with a former Federal Director of Public Prosecutions , as focal person .
6.One Osaigbovo Aghatise-who works for Razaq Isenalumhe and has privilege information of Lawyers practising in Edo State , as a former Permanent Secretary of the NBA Benin Branch , has collected money from Douglas Ogbankwa to perfect his Deed Pool and other documents since 2021 ,but since he now works for Isenalumhe , he has been playing hide and seek , refusing to bring details of the perfection of Deed Pool, saying "I will get to you "I will get to you ",showing that this a well orchestrated plan to pull him down.
7.Douglas Ogbankwa Juniors in Chambers led by One Nosakhare Festus-Ajayi ,-a lady has been supplying Douglas Ogbankwa distractors information since he-Douglas Ogbankwa encouraged her appointment into the Edo State Ministry of Justice ,which has been shrouded in secrecy ,but enmeshed in the betrayal and cheap sell out of his boss .
8.Douglas Ogbankwa Esq. In the Last two years or so have been an NBA Standing Reportteurs since PortHarcourt 2021.

Douglas Ogbankwa Esq., is a Member of the NBA National Public Interest Litigation Committee, a Member of the NBA College of Reportteurs and the Convener of the Vanguard for the Independence of the Judiciary (V4IJ).

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Benin Bar Police Relations Committee was set up by the NBA Benin Branch to be the the Go Between , on issues concerning the Police , severally in doing Police Business .
Our Mandate is to ensure that Citizens are not oppressed by the Police or that Lawyers do not do any thing untoward in the course of doing Police Business .
In Keeping up with this Core Mandate , we have embarked on the following :
1.Set up a Bar Police Joint Situation Room where the Commissioner of Police and his Police Management Team ,the Chairman of NBA Benin Branch , his Exco Members and Members of the Bar Police Monitoring Committee are all Members and from where we have resolved the following cases :
A.Ensured a refund of the sum.of 200 Thousand Naira collected by Operatives of the Anti Cultism Squad Edo State Police Command , from a Young Man who was going to Church and made them. to render to him an apology to him..
b.Ensured a refund of the sum.of 10 Thousand Naira collected from a Young Man by Okhoro Police Divisional Headquarters ,Benin City and made them.tonrender to him an apology.
We have also
2.Embarked on a social media campaign telling citizens of their Police Rights and Responsibilities.
3.Have provided all the phone numbers of all DPOs Area Commanders , Deputy Commissioners of Police ,the Commissioner of Police ,Edo State and the AIG Zone 5 Headquarters to Members of the Public to reach out to directly should there be Police Infractions .
E.Have Provided the Phone numbers of the Nigeria Police Complaint Response Unit and their Social Media Handles for easy Complaint from the Public .
We are willing and ready to Work with ROLAC in the following Programmes and Activities.
1.The Organization of a Two Days Sensitization Workshop for the Police ,Lawyers ,Civil Society and the Media across the State on the need for the Police Keep within its Rules of Engagement and the Role of the Media ,Lawyers and Civil Society in this regard which will generate a position paper and Communique that will be working document in this regard
2.To run a physical Bar Police Situation Room ,where we will have volunteers to man same within some time and respond to calls from the Public immediately.
3.To have hotlines where the Public can call together with functional Social Media Platforms like WhatsApp ,Instagram and Facebook and information from same processed and passed on the situation room ,on line real time for quick and immediate intervention.
4 To set up a Legal Team using the NYSC Legal Aid Committee to visit and Criminal Court's and Magistrates Court and intervene in Matters by appearing in Court for victims pro bono in matters of Police Operation
5.To Compile a Monthly Report about the activities of the Police of Edo State which will be classified passed on to the Commissioner of Police and ROLAC,while pointing out areas there will be improvements.
6.To Embark on Monitoring of Police activities Physically especially at road Blocks with identified teams as those of the Motor Traffic's Division of the Edo State Police Command ,A Road Block at around Okada ,Edo State ,from.the Okada Divisional Police HEADQUARTERS of the Police where it has been stated that they extort citizens ,
7.Mass Production and Distribution of Code of Conduct for Police Officers as many of them are not aware of the existence of such documents.
8.In order to stop extortion ,provision of basic stationary at Police Station like case files ,Bail Bond ,Ball Pens ,Foolscap Sheets ,A4 Papers ,with ROLAC clearly indicated as the Sponsors .This is to show that it is not a witch hunt ,but a Partnership .
9.Making of Smart ID Cards and buying of Reflective Jackets for Members of the Committee, to avoid impersonation .
