IN A STATEMENT SIGNED BY THE CHAIRMAN AND SECRETARY, THE NBA EKPOMA BRANCH STRONGLY CONDEMNS THE CRIMINAL INVASION OF THE COURT OF APPEAL, BENIN DIVISION; CALLS FOR MAXIMUM JUDICIAL SANCTIONS AGAINST PERPETRATORS.

 

The Nigerian Bar Association Ekpoma Branch is saddened by the heinous invasion of the Court of Appeal, Benin Division, by gunmen, who harassed, assaulted, and stopped Court workers from performing their duties. 

Accordingly, we condemn in strong terms the sacrilegious act and call on the security agencies to do all that is possible and stem this ugly development, ensure that the perpetrators of this heinous act, whoever they may be are to face the full wrath of the law.
